Walnut and Breast Cancer
One in 10 women will develop breast cancer, caused by modern lifestyles. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer, after cervical cancer. Based on research results compiled by researchers from Marshall University, which was reported in the journal Nutrition and Cancer, consumption of walnuts was able to reduce the risk of breast cancer significantly.
In this study, researchers conducted tests on rats to see the benefits of walnut consumption. The results showed that the risk of breast cancer dropped significantly in the mice that ate walnuts every day with a moderate amount.
